2023 Chicken Show Sponsorship

Good Morrow Hens and Roosters,

Do you have your armor ready for an adventure? Hatched from the renaissance era, the 2023 Chicken Show theme is ‘Eggscaliber’. We beg you to swear fealty to our liege lord, the mighty chicken, and to join us for a fowl festival in July. Will you be worthy to pluck the sword from the egg?

The 43rd Wayne Chicken Show will be held July 7-9, 2023. With the generous support of the Wayne Community, the Wayne Chicken Show has grown from a hatchling arts festival to a three-day celebration that is crowed about across the kingdom and beyond. Wayne Area Economic Development is asking for your assistance in making sure the memories last longer than an Arthurian Legend.

Financial support from area businesses is key to our ability to offer free entertainment and provide cash prizes for contests during Ye Olde Chicken Show. Flexible sponsorship levels allow businesses to select the category that will benefit them the most. Contributions must be received on or before May 15 to be included in the 2023 Chicken Show Brochure. Sponsors also have the opportunity to represent your business as contest announcers, judges, or award presenters, and should be indicated on the sponsor form. We cannot guarantee brochure listing for late arriving sponsorships.

Additionally, volunteers are crucial to the success of Ye Olde Chicken Show. Volunteers are always needed to set up the activities on Friday and Saturday. Group fundraising is possible for anyone wanting to provide games and activities during Henoween and Saturday in the Park. Please contact the WAED Office for ideas and to have your activity listed on the schedule of events.

Wayne Area Economic Development greatly appreciates your continuous support throughout the year and for specific events like Ye Olde Chicken Show. Your contribution and participation will ensure that Ye Olde Chicken Show will hatch tales worthy of the bard.

The committee meets at 5:30 p.m. on the second Monday of each month. If anyone is interested in the planning the event, organizing activities, or has questions about the event, please contact Brayden Sharp at bsharp@wayneworks.org or (402) 375-2240
